Matthew graduated with his bachelor's in aerospace engineering from Georgia Tech in 2024. As an undergraduate researcher, Matthew worked in the High-Power Electric Propulsion Laboratory, giving him a strong foundation with plasma physics. This background lends well to his efforts on laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS), which he is hoping to use to diagnose high-speed hydrocarbon flames.
