Henderson’s research involved the quantifying of pressure and fuel composition effects on the turbulent flame speed. He also looked at multi-component fuels at broad range of turbulence intensities, equivalence ratios and pressures. The ultimate goal is to develop a robust physics-based model of turbulent flame characteristics.
